Ecologistas en Acción take to the streets

Ecologistas present their street exhibition on agriculture, GMOs and Terminator in Granada, Spain – it can be viewed at www.ecologistasenaccion.org - and ask people to sign their petition to ban Terminator.

The Government of Spain is hosting a major United Nations meeting (Working Group on Article 8j of the Convention on Biological Diversity) that starts tomorrow (January 23) in Granada. Ecologistas en Acción has written to the government asking them to oppose Terminator.

The meeting of 8j will address major issues for Indigenous peoples regarding the protection of traditional knowledge and the sustainable use of biodiversity. The impacts of Terminator on Indigenous peoples and small-scale farmers and peasants is a major item on the agenda of the meeting.

Stay tuned to Ban Terminator this week for daily updates.
