Carrying banners reading "Ban Terminator: for a GMO free farmers' agriculture", "GMOs keep out of agriculture", "No hope for life nor food without farming", while distributing leaflets on Terminator to surprised passers-by, the group of some 30 people convened in front of the luxurious Monsanto office in Madrid. Heavily guarded by security corps that did not allow them to enter the building, they performed a symbolic "planting" of farmer-saved local varieties of organic vegetables, demanding a GMO-free agriculture and denouncing the development of genetically engineered suicide seeds.
